All right! That's enough you two! *glares darkly at the two saiya-jin* Boys.
Anyway, welcome to my blog, I am Murasaki Rose aka: Jeanne, and the picture to the right is obviously an anime version of myself, drawn by yours truly.

The less of me the better
*waves hands frantically* No no no, it's not what you think! I'm losing weight! Ya see, I'm about two sizes too big in the pants department. i.e.~ my ass is fat. >_< I'm on a one woman mission to be in a size 12 by the time VisionCon rolls around. I wanna cosplay! I'm already big-chested so I won't even have to pad my outfit, if I could just lose the extra weight in my butt and thighs! And I'm sure you want to know all this. @_@ I've already dropped fifteen pounds and nearly two inches off my hips! Whoo hoo!!! *flashes peace sign*

Gone to the fair
Okies minna, so last week was the annual fair. It's a reasonalbly large one. Least ways, I think so. But I haven't been to too many fairs. For those of you wondering, it's the Ozark Empire fair, which has taken place in my hometown for as long as I can remember and probably beyond. (Don't ask me, I just live here. =P) So this year, my sisters and I went and we had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we missed the music acts we wanted to see. Switchfoot and Uncle Kracker both performed, but OF COURSE Anna and I had to work on those nights. >_< The night we went Brad Paisley was performing. Country music, eeewww. Anywho, we had a lot of fun on the rides. Rode one called the Inverter. Damn thing literally turns you completely upside down, the only thing holding you down are the seat restraints that damn near crush the life out of you. And yet, your body still finds room to shift just enough to make you nervous. I want to stress here that there is NO TOP to this thing. Think the Batman type restraints with a floor. Floor doesn't do a damn bit of good when you're hanging upside down though. *grins* Major rush. We rode a lot of other things but only three others really stick out and not for the reasons you'd think. First off the Yo-Yo. Not an overly impressive ride. Basically, it's a bunch of seats that get spun around in a circle. Nice and relaxing, ne? That's what we thought anyway. Once you get going, you find that certain seats tend to "drift" as it were back and forth. Unfortunately, the two seats myself and my baby sister were in decided to do just that. We bumped twice, Laura banged her knee and my head got beaned by the chain from her chair. @_@ But let's move on to an earlier adventure. The Alpine. It's one of those rides with the little two-seater cars suspended by poles from a central tower that spin around in a rollercoaster fashion. Lots of fun and good at making you dizzy. Anyway, the car I had to get into was set at a 45 degree angle, not the easiest to get in. This was all well and good, but when the ride ended, my little car was in the same position it was before! And while getting in is fine and dandy, getting out proved to be difficult. My feet decided not to cooperate and got stuck, causing me to fall right out. x_x Fortunately we were near the back so the only people who saw were my sisters and the ride operator. *grins sheepishly* The last ride that left an impression on me left an even greater one on my sister Anna. *grins* It's called the Scrambler and that damn thing was old when my parents were teenagers. For those of you wondering, this rides involves twelve cars branching off three tines from a central pole. These all spin around, jerking the cars passengers towards the outside with centrifical force. It's actually rather fun. ^__^ Now this is important so bear with me a moment: I'm about 5 ft 7 and a half and I'm no lightweight. (I'm not fat, just a little big in the backside and I'm losing weight! More on that later.) My youngest sister Laura is 5 ft 4 in, but is skinny as a rail, and my other sister Anna is only 5 ft 2" and isn't getting any taller. You can imagine how much this pisses her off. Anyway we get into the car in this order: I'm on the inside, the Laura, then Anna. Needless to say, we squashed her pretty damn good. *chuckles evilly*
The only downside to the whole night was the carnies. Anna and I got hosed and I should have seen it! Damn it, if they'd tried that shit on me at work I'd have busted their ass on the spot! *growls angrily* But after this we'll never play another carnival game again. My dad says that they've actually lost more money than they made by pulling that shit and he's right. Anna and I will never play another carnival game again and neither will any of our children(when we have them). On a related note, Anna got a nice bear and I have a cute purple unicorn. ^_^
